Masanari Nagasaka received his Ph.D. degree from Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo in 2007. After receiving the Ph.D. degree, he joined Institute for Molecular Science as an assistant professor. His research focuses on the development of several detection techniques for soft X-ray spectroscopy of liquids and the investigation of chemical processes in solution by the combination of in situ / operando experimental methods and theoretical calculations.
